Ran a 1992 Volvo 240 wagon to ~260k—odo failed at 230—prior to total loss in a (not at fault) collision. Lamentable, as the vehicle was still functioning faultlessly, but a more than fair insurance assessment and transition to the Bavarian helped assuage the pain : )
